Requirements:
- At least a 2:2 bachelor's degree in psychology, or a related field.
- A passion for the education and development of SEN pupils.
- Commitment to following strict safeguarding policies.
- Previous experience of working with pupils, or in a school setting, is beneficial but not mandatory.
The Role
- Assisting teaching staff in adapting lesson plans and learning materials to accommodate the needs of pupils with additional learning needs.
- Creating personalised support strategies to improve the achievement levels of SEN pupils.
- Partaking in training courses and CPD opportunities to ensure the pupils are supported as effectively as possible.
- Supporting SEN pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis across the curriculum.
