Director of Marketing
Permanent, full-time
Salary circa £100,000+ per annum negotiable + benefits package
Our client is a well-established and growing global leader in the B2B technology and service solutions space.
Location: Central London (minimum 3 days/week in office)
THE DIRECTOR OF MARKETING RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Driving the development and execution of positioning, and messaging strategies
- Managing the services marketing budget effectively to maximize ROI and achieve marketing goals
- Creating compelling product messaging and collateral to enable sales and proposals
- Conducting market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform product positioning and differentiation, working in collaboration with senior departmental leads (global)
- Collaborating with product management to influence NPD in your product area (Services)
- Reporting and presenting key information.
THE IDEAL DIRECTOR OF MARKETING WILL HAVE:
- Demonstrable experience in B2B marketing, preferably combining technology and services
- Strong understanding and execution of product positioning, messaging, and sales enablement
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies
- Thrives in a senior, yet hands-on role managing a small team of Senior Marketing Managers (Regionally based)
- Proven expertise in events, webinars, sponsorships, and retention, and new business strategy
- Demonstrable cross-functional, global matrix collaboration with sales, product, solutions, marketing, finance etc
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with market research, content, events, marketing automation and project management tools
- Self-motivated and enjoys a high degree of product (Services) ownership
