Weldricks is a family-owned pharmacy with over 62 stores and more than 600 dedicated employees in stores across South Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, and East Riding, and we are looking for an IT Support Assistant to join our team.
About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, professional individual who can support the provision of the IT department to the company branches and head office.
As part of this IT Support Assistant role, you will:
- Perform necessary routine adjustments when required.
- Regularly check business-critical systems for issues in hardware and in software and resolve, if necessary, with third parties.
- Perform structured network cabling in a professional manner.
- Liaise with different stakeholders throughout the business.
- Plan and manage IT projects.
- Support stores with the maintenance of their systems.
This is a full-time position working 9.00am to 5.30pm from Monday to Friday.
The hourly rate for this position is £11.80, depending on experience.
Essential Skills
We are looking for someone who:
- Is comfortable communicating face to face and over the phone
- Has a good understanding of written English (Ideally a minimum of GCSE Grade C in English or equivalent).
- Is self-motivated and comfortable working as part of a team or independently.
- Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to a vehicle, as part of the role requires you to visit our stores.
- Is adaptable to handling new issues and ever-changing situations and able to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
- Has experience in the same or similar role, such as IT Systems Administrator, IT Support Technician, Network and Systems Administrator or IT Support Engineer.
