Senior Finance Analyst, Operations

Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our R&D and Supply Chain Finance team, supporting the strategy of our No7 Beauty Company (No7BC) business.

Reporting to the Finance Manager: R&D and Supply Chain, you'll provide FP&A and business partner support to the No7BC Global R&D and Supply Chain Lead Team, and be part of the wider Operations Finance Business Partnering team. You'll also collaborate closely with our Central FP&A team.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Senior Finance Analyst with the ambition to progress to Finance Manager in the future.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting with the FP&A activities for the R&D and Supply Chain function

o Supporting the monthly close with Controllership ensuring on time and accurate reporting, focussing largely on R&D and Supply Chain Other GPA's, SG&A and Capex

o Supporting in producing and presenting the monthly reporting packs to leadership

o Supporting in producing budget/forecasts and holding teams to account for delivering these numbers

  • Helping teams to understand performance, providing analysis and creating insight to inform future decisions
  • Providing support and training to non-Finance colleagues (cost trackers, capex guidance)
  • Involvement in the R&D tax credit, working with tax and external third party on validating calculation
  • Supporting the Inventory team to help minimise excess and obsolete (E&O) stock across the business, involvment in the reporting that goes to the Steering Committee
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement

What you'll need:

  • A part qualified / studying accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA).
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Commercial awareness, identify solutions, drive performance.
  • Show confidence to challenge non-finance
  • A natural curiosity and "can do" mindset
  • Excellent Excel skills

It would be great if you also have

  • Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous
