Senior Finance Assistant
Design Studio | Central London | 30-35k | Hybrid (3 days a week in the office)
A rapidly growing, successful independent design studio are on the lookout for a confident and experienced finance assistant to join their close knit team on 6-9 month contract.
You will manage the day to day running of transactional finance and work very closely with a Finance Controller.
Responsibilities - Finance Assistant
- Ownership of APinbox
- Preparing weekly payment runs
- Generating billings and raising sales invoices
- Assisting with VAT return checks & ensuring compliance
- Liaise with the Client Services Team to coordinate efficient client billing
- Chasing debtors and reporting on outstanding debts
- Adhering to strict month end deadlines
- Assistance with year-end audit
- Other ad hoc analysis and reporting as required
The Person - Finance Assistant
- Self starter with a pro-active approach
- Strong communication skills in order to confidently talk to staff of different seniority levels and stakeholders
- Proven bookkeeping experience
- Strong Excel skills
