We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 SEN Support Worker to join one of our primary schools in Harrogate. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with Autism and ADHD, providing tailored support to help them thrive in a school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to a primary school student with Autism and ADHD.
  • Implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
  • Work closely with teachers and other school staff to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Monitor and record the student's progress, reporting to relevant stakeholders.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the classroom.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with Autism and ADHD.
  • Strong understanding of SEN best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs.
