The Role:
Our client is currently seeking a skilled telehandler to join their team on a temporary basis. As a telehandler, you will be responsible for safely operating the telehandler to assist with various construction tasks on site. Your main duties will include:
- Operating the telehandler to lift, move, and position heavy construction materials.
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of building supplies.
- Collaborating with the construction team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times.
- Any other telehandler-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Skills and Experience Required:
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A valid CSCS and telehandler certification.
- Proven experience operating a telehandler in a construction environment.
- The ability to work well within a team and follow instructions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- A strong commitment to health and safety procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
