We are currently seeking a Manager to join our friendly team in Poole, Dorset.

As the Showroom Manager at Tim's Tiles, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our showroom, ensuring an exceptional customer experience, and driving sales growth. You will lead and motivate a team of sales associates, maintain showroom standards, and manage stock efficiently. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and inspire a team of showroom staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Oversee showroom presentation, ensuring displays are attractive and products are well-organized.
  • Handle customer inquiries, provide expert advice, and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor inventory levels, manage stock replenishment, and coordinate with suppliers.
  • Conduct regular staff training and development sessions.
  • Research, identify and contact potential new business and customers.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and staff.
  • Analyse performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with senior management to plan and execute development strategies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Showroom Manager or in a similar retail management role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of tile products and/or interior trends is highly desirable.
  • Sales-driven with a track record of achieving targets.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in written English, basic math and competent in using MS Office.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
