Digital Estimator and Coordination Apprentice:

We are a family run business with a Head Office in Uddingston, we are keen to support and nurture junior talent and support internal promotion. We are keen to recruit another enthusiastic apprentice to join our friendly, hardworking sales team.

You will be supported from day 1! We will pair you with a dedicated mentor who will show you the ropes! You will be shadowing different departments, familiarising yourself with the company's products and services to ensure you will feel comfortable in your new apprenticeship role.

As the Digital Estimator and Coordination Apprentice, you will be responsible for:

  • Become an expert on their internal system, QLOAD and take ownership of managing all quotations, prices, products and placing orders.
  • Working collaboratively with the Sales and Estimation team using a variety of systems including MS Excel, Word, Outlook and QLOAD
  • Managing projects to support the team with forecasting materials, resources, and production operations.
  • You will become responsible for engaging with our customer base, responding to emails and phone calls.
  • As your confidence grows, you will be producing and managing multiple quotations whilst learning how to convert an enquiry to an order.
  • Being supported by a dedicated mentor guiding you through initial training and supporting you thrive during your apprenticeship.
  • You will also be introduced to other areas of the department with involvement in design, planning and production to broaden your overall knowledge.

Additional Information

  • Salary - £16,700 - £22,308 per annum. Salary will be based on the employer's discretion
  • Working hours - Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm (37.5 hours)

They talk you through the specifics on the qualifications you gain and how they align in particular to your day to day role.

On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 6.
