Our Client is an International Freight Forwarding company providing logistical needs from 3PL to sea, road and air freight. Due to increased global growth, they are looking to add a Freight Road Customer Service Agent to their team in Essex.
The role of Road Freight Customer Service Agent will:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers on a daily basis
- Manage orders by entering data into the CARGOLINK system, ensuring accuracy
- Coordinate collections with the UK distribution department and International Export Planners
- Direct the Customs team to issue export declarations
- Perform various administrative tasks, including handling queries and POD requests
- Provide customers with delivery status updates upon request
- Communicate with DSV offices throughout Europe
Requirements for the role of Road Freight Customer Service Agent:
- Demonstrated experience in Customer Service
- General knowledge of transport (preferred but not required)
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills
- Efficiency and attention to detail
- Strong administrative abilities

The successful Road Freight Customer Service Agent will be offered a salary up to £26,000 in line with skills and experience, plus benefits package.
