Accounts Assistant

Fin Search are recruiting an Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis for a well established, well performing business based in Leeds.

This role will be report in to an ACCA qualified Head of Finance, responsible for the management of the accounts payable and receivable ledgers.

Duties will include, however are not limited to, accounts payable from start to finish to include making payment runs to suppliers, supplier statement reconciliations, accounts receivable and credit control to include raising sales invoices and posting cash, bank reconciliations, VAT returns and processing weekly and monthly payroll.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong accounts assistant looking for a varied role in a personable and friendly team.

The business will consider somebody in a part time basis (4 days per week) as well as full time.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have worked in a relevant finance role previously
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Be working towards AAT - desirable

£30,000 - £34,000 + AAT study support + free on site parking + 22 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) + pension scheme + regular social events
