I am recruiting for a dedicated and passionate Geography Teacher for a full-time maternity cover position at a secondary school in Sutton Coldfield, starting from Monday, 2nd December 2024, until July 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting impact in a school known for its commitment to both staff and student well-being.

The school is seeking an enthusiastic Geography teacher with a passion for the subject and a strong ability to engage students across Years 7 to 11. You will be joining a supportive environment where your teaching can truly make a difference in students' academic journeys.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Geography in a secondary school setting, particularly across Years 7 to 11
  • A commitment to delivering engaging lessons that inspire a love for Geography
  • Full-time availability from December 2024 to July 2025

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Geography lessons to Years 7 to 11
  • Follow the school's ethos and policies
  • Positively integrate into the school environment and adapt to the needs of different students
  • Help students develop their understanding of Geography and prepare them for exams
