My client are seeking a Transport and Operations Administrator to join their lively office team in Worksop. This temporary position is available immediately for a candidate who is detail-oriented, organised, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The role is fully office-based and requires a dedicated individual ready to start as soon as possible.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Initially, you will undergo training during day shifts from 8 am to 6 pm, after which you will transition to night shifts.
  • After training, you will work either Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday nights, with shifts from 10 pm to 7 am or 11 pm to 8 am.
  • Update customer orders with high accuracy and ensure all details are correct.
  • Liaise with couriers and business customers over the phone to resolve any queries.
  • Close down jobs on the system, ensuring all necessary information is entered correctly.
  • Perform data entry tasks and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous administration and/or office-based customer service experience.
  • Transport experience is an advantage but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately.
  • Excellent data entry skills and experience with computer systems.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Valid UK driving license
