- Salary: £24,000 - £34,000 (dependent on experience)
- Shift Pattern: Morning and afternoon shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and load components onto machines to measure key features such as size, roundness, cylindricity, concentricity, and squareness.
- Compare measurement results to customer specifications to ensure product quality.
- Operate Mitutoyo CMM and Jenoptik Contracer machines.
- Manage and export SPC Measurelink files.
- Perform detailed inspections and document findings.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
- Follow health & safety procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, standards, and surface finishes (preferred).
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience with Mitutoyo CMM measurement systems (preferred).
- Familiarity with MCOSMOS software (preferred).
- Experience working in a QA AS9100-compliant environment (a strong advantage).
- Background in high-tolerance production settings.
- Skilled in using measurement tools such as Talyrond, Mitutoyo, Bowers, micrometers, and height gauges.
- Adaptability to follow company manufacturing processes.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
