We are working on behalf of a fast-growing client who provide comprehensive financing solutions for the real estate industry. Our client is dedicated to delivering exceptional financial services to their clients and investors, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
Candidates applying should have a minimum of 5 years experience in a bookkeeping/accounts assistant role and be familiar with accounting software such as Xero or QuickBooks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Maintain and update financial records and ledgers.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients and investors regarding financial matters.
- Provide timely and accurate financial information and reports.
- Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date files and records.
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely transactions.
- Facilitate banking transactions and reconcile bank statements.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Demonstrated experience in a bookkeeping / accounting role
- Proficient in using accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Prior experience in the real estate or property finance industry is preferred but not essential.
- Accounting qualifications such as the AAT is advantageous but not essential.
