Details of the role and team

This position is aligned within TDI (Technology, Data & Innovation)/CSO (Chief Security Office) Enterprise Security Architecture & Enablement (ESA&E) supporting special projects within the ESA team and workstreams within the new Secure Design & Enablement program.

In this role, you'll be responsible for any special projects assigned from initial ideation, planning, and execution through any relevant monitoring and follow up actions. Examples include but are not limited to working on proposed solutions for audit points, working on white papers / policy documents, or reviewing solutions to address specific ESA&E capabilities.

Additionally, you'll be responsible for working with ESA&E teams and any relevant external teams to execute tasks and workstreams within the Secure Design and Enablement program book of work. This is a newly started program that will enable consumption of security services by providing guidance aligned to the enterprise security architecture capabilities and secure design best practices to ensure standardization of CSO controls across an asset's lifecycle. This role exists within a fast-paced environment and candidates should be able to quickly pivot to meet changing priorities or needs.

Your key responsibilities

  • Working knowledge of security services such as encryption, authentication, and intrusion detection and prevention architectures, Identity & Access Management, application security and network security
  • Understanding of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, protection measures, and technologies
  • Knowledge of the cybersecurity industry and measures/techniques applied to measure and reduce risk
  • Demonstrable knowledge of enterprise security architecture and secure design best practices
  • Excellent team member, able to work in virtual teams and a matrix organization across globally disparate time zones
  • Strong customer service and communication skills

Your skills and experience

  • Progressive cybersecurity experience and experience aligning and enabling security strategy through security architecture functions
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: security architecture, enterprise security architecture, cyber hygiene, cyber risk management
  • Knowledge of financial industry regulations: Gramm-Leach Bliley Act (GLBA), Payment Card Industry (PCI), and Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC), Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS)
  • Bachelor's degree - Masters or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems degree or equivalent work experience
  • It's preferred that you have at least one of the following certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM) SABSA
