A varied and hands-on role, the Marketing Communications Executive will have responsibility for delivering a wide range of communication projects that fully articulate the business' key priorities and that connect with audiences - both internal and external.
The successful candidate will need to be a proactive team player. Working with colleagues from across the business, the role will require the ability to seek out news and produce high-quality, targeted content, along with the skills to recognise and react to communication challenges, and to support the development of solutions that help shape our communication strategy.
Main Responsibilities
Internal communications.
(1) Ensure the publication of regular company-wide updates to promote key business messaging.
(2) Gather news from across the Group and where applicable, repurpose for internal and external audiences, including adopting the correct tone of voice, seeking approvals, and commissioning photography.
(3) Support the recruitment strategy and wider goal of becoming an ‘employer of choice' through owning and updating the careers section of the website.
External communications.
(1)Guard and maintain the corporate brand across all materials and mediums.
(2) Produce engaging content, including press releases, social posts, video, and other support materials that align with the business' plans and messages.
(3) Support our Group businesses with targeted marketing content including social posts and support materials.
Event support.
(1)Support the delivery of company events, both internal and external.
(2) Work with business teams to identify potential events and/or speaker opportunities.
(3) Maintain the company event calendar
(4) Produce event reports and metrics to help influence future plans.

- Highly organised with the ability to adapt to changing business priorities.
- Expert in PowerPoint.
- IT literate and proficient in the use of MS Office Packages.
Experience
- 5+ years in a communications role.
- Proven track record in producing a range of collateral.
- Demonstrable experience of producing high calibre written content and maintaining brand identity.
- Experience of digital marketing techniques including email campaigns and SEO.
- Working knowledge of WordPress, Google Analytics and MailChimp.
- Understanding of public relations.
- Experience in event support/management
