Financial Planning Administrator

We are currently working with an award-winning, established Financial Planning business based in Hertfordshire to recruit a Financial Planning Assistant to join their growing team.

The firm have been serving the community in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire for many years. They are a dynamic, forward thinking and highly professional practice that has experienced consistent growth through client recommendations since their founding. Many of their advisers have over twenty years of industry experience and help to contribute to providing a top-quality service to their clients.

They are looking for someone to offer support to their advisers, paraplanners and the practice overall to ensure the client receives first-rate financial advice.

Examples of duties include but are not limited to:

  • Complete post-sale administration tasks, such as adding clients' information to the intelligent office database and creating or updating Wealth Reports.
  • Prepare and collect necessary information for complex cases, including CETVs, Illustrations, LOAs, and Policy information checklists.
  • Administer New Business and Review Cases, submit applications to providers, complete both online and manual application forms, and ensure cases are activated as quickly as possible.
  • Prepare and maintain client files, ensuring they meet compliance standards.
  • Assist paraplanners with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Occasionally write basic reports, including Bed & ISA, Fund Switches, Reviews, Withdrawals, and more.
  • Liaise with clients and handle complaints.
  • Provide general administrative support during colleagues' absences.
  • Mentor colleagues to help them develop specialized administrative skills.

The salary banding for this role is £30,000 - £35,000. Ideally, they would like candidates with some experience (2 years in a financial planning environment).
