Complex Needs Learning Support Assistant

  • Full-time/Long-term
  • Special school
  • Immediate start ideally
  • Ages 2-19
  • Wide range of learning difficulties
  • 8:45am - 3:30pm

We are working with a fantastic Special School for pupils aged 2-19 who have a wide range of learning difficulties ranging from moderate to profound. Many of the students have challenging behaviours and complex medical needs.

A focus on empowering and supporting pupils to achieve the best possible outcomes is central to the role of all staff members at the school. Having placed numerous staff members there over the years, I can confidently say how supportive of a team they are at the school.

The role

The role will be general class & 1:1 support across the school. The school are looking for staff who are resilient and flexible and have the ability to work as part of a team to promote a love of learning for all our young people across all ages, abilities and needs within the school.

Qualifications are not essential, however, experience/interest with pupils with complex special educational needs is an advantage.
