Description
- Team Leadership: Manage, train, and develop a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring high performance and strong team morale.
- Operational Efficiency: Plan and oversee daily warehouse operations, including inventory control, order fulfilment, and stock accuracy.
- Health & Safety: Ensure all activities comply with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Reporting: Monitor KPIs and generate regular reports for senior management.
- Coordination: Collaborate closely with other departments including production, logistics, and customer service to ensure seamless operations.
Profile
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse environment, ideally within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
- Excellent organisational skills with a strong focus on detail and accuracy.
- WMS experience, ideally with SAGE
- Solid understanding of health & safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
