We are seeking a dedicated Finance Assistant to join our Education Client on a temporary, ongoing contract. The ideal candidate will have accountancy experience and be available to work three days a week.
This role involves working closely with our Finance Manager on various financial tasks including invoicing, bank reconciliations and payments processing. Experience with Excel and Sage software is highly desirable.
Day to Day of the role:
- Assist the Finance Manager with invoicing, payments processing, and other financial operations.
- Ensure accurate and timely handling of all transactions.
- Collaborate with the finance team to maintain financial records and ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
- Utilise Excel and Sage software for various accounting tasks,
- Provide support with accounting transactional tasks as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous accountancy experience.
- Availability to work on-site on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in financial software, with Sage experience being desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
