Our client based in Wincanton is looking for a CNC Machinist. If you have experience this is great however, they can offer the opportunity to train a candidate providing you can bring to them some transferable skills.
This would include:
- Some experience of operating machines in a manufacturing environment
- Able to read an engineering drawing
- Basic maths and numerical skills
- A general engineering background
- Able to demonstrate previous experience of working to tight tolerances
- Working with metal
This role will be programming, setting and operating Fanuc control CNC machines. You will be producing bespoke components to a high qualify for the customers.
This role is working Monday – Thursday 7.00 – 16.00 and Friday 7.00 – 13.00.
This is a permanent position and the the role pays £14.00 - £17.00 an hour depending on the level of experience. If overtime is available, it is paid at time and a half.
