Management Accountant - Development Role - Hybrid Working - Study Support from Day One
Nigel Wright are excited to bring this new opportunity to market for our Northallerton based client, who are seeking the newest member of their Finance function.
Working within a small team, you'll be given responsibility for your own sets of accounts, providing insightful analysis and commentary for management and relaying this to other business areas. Duties will include:
- Production of management accounts and budgets for your allocated business unit(s).
- Ensuring controls are adhered to and best practice is followed and maintaining financial control for all business segments.
- Balance sheet control and reconciliation.
- Monitoring financial models to ensure accurate reporting of revenues and costs to cost centres.
- Supporting the production of year end and auditor information.
- Interpreting, analysing and delivering financial information/results to internal stakeholders and senior leadership in meetings and on-site.
- Use of Power BI to create financial models.

Ideal Requirements:
- Actively studying (AAT/CIMA/ACCA) or looking to begin studying chartered qualification
- Good demonstrable experience within a Management Accountant role, responsible for preparing sets of accounts
- Ideally experience gained within manufacturing (or similar) - costing and variance analysis exposure
- Exceptional systems and Excel skills including Power BI
- Analytically minded and keen to productively challenge financial information

- Salary c£35,000 + study support from day one (financial and exam leave)
- Hybrid and flexible working policy - Monday to Friday
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays - increasing with length of service
