An innovative and award-winning independent Cost and Project Management Consultancy is on the lookout for a client-facing Senior Quantity Surveyor with Employers Agent experience to join their vibrant Manchester office.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor Role
This exciting opportunity will see the Senior Quantity Surveyor integrate into a lively team of 7 Quantity Surveyors, within a larger group of 15-20 professionals, based in Manchester.
The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will undertake a dual role, performing Quantity Surveying and Employers Agent duties across a diverse range of Social Housing projects.
With a balanced mix of office, site, and home working-typically three days at the office or site and the remainder from home-all projects are conveniently located within the Northwest region. This flexible approach ensures an excellent work-life balance.
The role demands a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a proven history in Employers Agent services for Social Housing schemes. The consultancy is dedicated to offering significant opportunities for career advancement to Associate Director level, along with extensive support for professional development and Chartership through their acclaimed internal APC programme.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be a proactive individual who excels in a collaborative and supportive setting and is eager for career progression and personal development. You will also have:
- A construction related degree qualification (ideally BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying)
- Previous Quantity Surveying experience within a UK Construction Consultancy
- Experience running Social Housing projects from inception to completion
- Experience working in an Employers Agent role
- MRICS is highly desirable or someone in need of support to achieve chartership
