DescriptionFive Education are recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants for special schools in Wiltshire. The role is to support identified pupils with Special Education Needs (SEN) and/ or mental health challenges.

Previous experience in supporting individuals with SEND such as Autism and challenging behaviour is desirable. The right person for this role will be kind, compassionate, patient and resilient.

The role will involve:
Supporting pupils, either 1:1 or in small groups.
Assisting pupils throughout the day, helping them to remain focussed and on task.
Guide the pupils when they are struggling, and help them to become regulated and calm.

Essential Criteria:

  • Have an interest in supporting children/ young people
  • Right to work in the UK (A Valid Visa)
  • Relevant references and DBS/Police checks
  • Able to work 8.30-3.30, 3-5 days per week, term time only
