Location: North Lanarkshire
Salary: up to £65,000 DOE
About the Role: A leading manufacturing company is looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to join their department in North Lanarkshire. You'll be responsible for leading and managing a team of engineers, ensuring smooth operations in a busy production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to enhance equipment performance.
- Oversee the Engineering team
- Troubleshoot technical issues to minimise downtime.
- Ensure health and safety compliance.
- Manage contractors and maintenance budgets.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare regular reports.
- Drive improvements and efficiencies across the team.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in an engineering leadership role within a manufacturing or process environment.
- Hands-on technical expertise, ideally multi-skilled.
- Strong people management skills with a focus on coaching and developing teams.
- Experience in maintenance scheduling and root cause analysis.
- Flexibility for occasional travel to support seasonal operations.
