We have an exciting opportunity for a Hire Desk Controller to join the team of a national company that supplies plant hire equipment into the construction industry.
Our client has a great reputation in the industry and is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and flexible all-rounder to work as part of a busy hire desk team within a very supportive company. The role reports into the Hire Desk Manager, and the main parts of the role include:
Role
- First point of contact for customer enquiries on a sales orientated hire desk.
- Build relationships with clients and provide accurate quotations
- Planning transport for deliveries and collections
- To proactively work jointly with all departments
- Dealing with damages, calculating costs, liaising with customers.
- Full training on product range will be given.
Required Skills:
- Experience in the hire industry is preferable
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong IT skills including MS packages.
- You must be reliable, enthusiastic, and well organised.
- The successful candidate will need to be self-motivated and proactive.
