Financial Accountant | Construction| £35 - 40k (DOE) plus bonus and benefits | London (hybrid)
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a market leader in the Construction industry in a broad Financial Accounting role within a growing division. Reporting into an impressive Finance Director and becoming part of a very ambitious wider finance function, this is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified auditor to make the first move from practice into industry.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Setting up all financial reporting processes for this newly-established division
- Producing accurate and timely statutory accounts
- Preparing monthly management reports
- Balance sheet reconcilations, management reporting and P&L
- Supporting the Finance team to ensure that periodic divisional reporting is prepared accurately and in accordance with corporate policy
- Identify opportunities across systems and process to drive improvements
Experience required:
- Part or fully qualified accountant
- strong experience in accounts prep and management reporting
- Excellent knowledge of Excel and Sage
- Strong communicator
- Bookeeping experience ideally
