Business Support Officer

Our client are a medium sized consultancy who are looking for a versatile Business Support Officer to manage everyday business activities.

This is a hybrid role with 4 days on site per week.

The Key Responsibilities of a Business Support Officer:

  • Social Media and Marketing/Merchandise Management:
  • Develop and execute social media strategies.
  • Manage and update social media profiles and website content.
  • Coordinate marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Oversee the marketing materials and merchandise.
  • General Business Support Management:
  • Provide administrative support.
  • Assist in business processes and procedures.
  • Coordinate and manage special projects and initiatives.
  • Office Management:
  • Ensure an organised Office.
  • Manage office repairs and maintenance issues.
  • Liaise with space providers regarding office-related matters.
  • Oversee the ordering and stock management of office supplies and stationery.
  • Document Management:
  • Maintain accurate and organised filing systems.
  • Ensure all documents are properly archived.
  • Prepare and review of contracts, agreements, and other official documents.
  • Data Management:
  • Maintain and update databases and records.
  • Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Generate reports and summaries from data as required.
  • Customer and Client Support:
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients and customers, addressing enquiries and helping.
  • Support client onboarding and relationship management activities.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for improving office processes.
  • Stay updated with the latest administrative practices and technologies.

Below is a list of Key Skills required for the Business Support Officer role, however you will not be expected to have everything:

  • Proven experience in a business support or administrative role.
  • Proficiency in social media management and marketing.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Proactive and able to take initiative.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
