An opportunity has arisen for Service Manager withexperience in construction plant or a similar field in a reputable family-owned company, providing cost-effective lifting solutions for construction projects.
In this role you will provide first-line technical support (mechanical / electrical) to clients and team members.
You will be responsible for:
- Manage the service and maintenance operations, focusing on equipment uptime and enhancing client satisfaction.
- Oversee the maintenance of all equipment to ensure minimal downtime.
- Lead and manage the service team, both field and yard based.
- Handle budget management within the service department.
- Collaborate with internal departments, external contractors, and clients.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and reporting.
What we are looking for:
- Previously worked as a Service Manager in the.
- Experience in construction plant or a similar field.
- Background in project management and people management.
- Possess recognised engineering qualification.
- Strong technical skills in both mechanical and electrical areas.
- Valid UK driving license.
