FRS are recruiting an experienced Accounts Payable Officer for a reputable & well established business who are based in Coventry.
The business offer hybrid working and a salary of £28-32k plus hybrid working with 2 dpw working from home. Benefits include 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, £bonus potential, critical illness cover & more!
You will be reporting into the Financial Controller & you'll be responsible for the day-to-day control of purchase and procurement activities across the business. This is a vital role within the finance team, ensuring compliance, good relations with vendors & making sure your side of the desk runs smoothly.
Duties Will Include
- Oversee the full process of completing Purchase Orders
- Manage the entire procure-to-pay cycle, from raising purchase orders to handling vendor invoices & making payments
- Making sure suppliers are paid accurately & on time
- Keep vendor records up to date & maintain good working relationships
- Match and reconcile invoices & sort out any issues that come up
- Follow internal processes and ensure everything meets company policies & controls
- Create and review procurement reports to help with tracking & planning
- Work closely with other departments to improve & streamline procurement work flow
- Support audit processes by providing all necessary documentation & information
