Outbound sales lead generator

The Opportunity:

Nigel Wright Group is delighted to be working with a repeat client in their search for an outbound lead generator. The role is titled as Business Development Representative and is responsible for identifying and qualifying new clients and generating appointments using a tried and tested sales methodology. This is an outbound sales role and will involve speaking to gatekeepers and decision makers in order to deliver KPIs so a proven track record in a B2B sales roles is preferred. Hybrid role with two days a week based in the Newcastle city centre office.

Role Profile:

  • Identify, contact and qualify customers to achieve/exceed demand generation targets through inbound marketing source leads and outbound targeted campaign execution.
  • Generate high quality pipeline, qualified using company sales methodology.
  • Effectively utilise a variety of channels such as social media, internet, web-based tools & outbound calling.
  • Work with internal teams to develop and implement appropriate prospect communication plans to ensure quality communication plans are delivered to potential customers.
  • Achieve set sales targets.

Person Specification:

  • Demonstrable experience in outbound sales in a B2B environment
  • Confident in making those cold calls to prospects with a robust, resilient approach
  • Knowledge of a marketing approach to customers, their objectives and the sales cycle
  • Strong understanding of business and how key stakeholders make buying decisions
  • Exemplify personal drive, show positivity and determination to succeed in the role
  • Must be articulate, organised, detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task effectively
  • Have proven personal success in sales
  • Power to influence decision makers, persuasive skills are essential
  • Experience of Linkedin Sales Navigator desirable

This is a hybrid role with a minimum of two days required in Newcastle city centre based office each week
