What You Will Do:
- Monitor and track inventory levels of finished goods, chemicals, packaging, and shipping materials ensuring accurate record-keeping and optimisation of stock levels.
- Analyse inventory data to identify trends and improve inventory management processes.
- Prepare and generate reports on stock levels and movements for management review.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to minimise stock shrinkage and enhance efficiency.
- Lead and manage a team of inventory staff, overseeing hiring, training, and performance management.
- Coordinate annual stock counts and manage the daily input of production data into Sage.
What You Will Bring:
- Proven experience in inventory management within a manufacturing or similar environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret inventory data effectively.
- Excellent leadership qualities and experience in managing teams.
- Previous experience leading a Inventory teams managing mulitple million pounds worth of stock.
- Knowledge of Sage or similar inventory management software.
- Exceptional organisational and communication skills.
