We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join our client on a contract basis. This role involves working with customers, sales staff, and delivery teams to create comprehensive solutions that address customer needs. These solutions may encompass processes, services, and technical aspects that together fulfil the customer's requirements. The Solution Architect will play a crucial role in leading the solution design and implementation across a diverse range of projects.

Day-to-Day of the Role:

  • Create requirement specifications by interpreting customers' requirements.
  • Define high-level solutions to meet customer needs and ensure solution boundaries are clearly defined.
  • Articulate solutions to all stakeholders, positioning yourself as the solution authority.
  • Work closely with the delivery team throughout the lifecycle, providing guidance to ensure successful delivery.
  • Assist the customer during acceptance phases and act as the main point of contact during User Acceptance Testing.
  • Influence product roadmaps to align with market trends and customer needs, working closely with product and proposition teams.
  • Engage with and influence stakeholders at all levels within the customer organisation and internally.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect, particularly in customer-facing roles.
  • Technical background with experience in software solution architecture.
  • Experience as a development or delivery lead in cross-functional software implementation projects.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development environments and the full Software Delivery Lifecycle.
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, translating business requirements into development user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Demonstrable experience in influencing decision-makers within customer organisations.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to motivate teams efficiently.
