The Account Manager Role The main part of the role will be managing your accounts ensuring customers achieve their goals and maximise the value of the products and services. You will build strong relationships with assigned accounts, proactively identify their needs, upselling based on their growth requirements, provide ongoing support to drive adoption, retention, and growth.

Account Manager responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, building trust and rapport with customers.
  • Proactively understand customer needs and challenges through regular communication and engagement.
  • Onboard new customers, ensuring a smooth transition and successful product /service adoption.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, recommending solutions that enhance customer success.
  • Track and analyse customer usage data to identify areas for improvement and product development.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Product, Marketing) to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Develop and deliver training materials to empower customers to use the product / service effectively.
  • Monitor customer health and proactively identify at-risk accounts, taking steps to prevent churn.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the customer success function and processes.

The Account Manager Package

  • Basic Salary £45,000
  • Quarterly bonuses OTE £55,000

Account Manager desired skills and experience

  • Experienced in a sales / account management within financial services
  • Knowledge of specialist lending platform technology / SaaS / Fintech
  • Proven track record of managing accounts
  • Experience upselling products and services
  • Experience / knowledge within specialist lending
  • Able to build rapport with clients
  • Consistent and diligent in work
