Finance Manager

Our client a multinational organisation is seeking a Finance Manager to join their finance team, following an encouraging period of growth.
This role will play a key role in managing the finance team and function for the group, ensuring accurate financial reporting and implementation of financial processes. This position is ideal for an experienced leader with a strong track record of leading finance teams and knowledge of accounting principles who can to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage and lead finance team with the ultimate aim to deliver a best-in-class service to the wider business.
- Responsible for all finance and accounting duties for the business unit and engagement with relevant business stakeholders.
- Manage and support finance function during the month-end closing process, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare statutory financial statements in line with IFRS.
- Oversee and manage annual audits and liaise with external auditors and relevant authorities
- Review management accounts and manage cash flow across all entities, ensuring relevant funds are allocated.
- Handle group intercompany transactions, identifying any issues to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts, including the annual budgeting process.
- Drive continuous improvement and review financial processes and procedures to ensure they are fit for purpose.
- Collaborative with other departments outside of finance to align financial and organisational goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent).
- Strong leadership skills and a proven record of managing a team and cultivating a positive and collaborative working environment
- 3 years' experience within a managerial role in finance
- Strong all round financial and management accounting skills
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS) and experience preparing statutory accounts
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships and collaborative effectively with wider business teams
- Strong system skills ideally experience working with SAP.
