Reed are currently supporting a sheffield based family run precision engineers in the recruitment of an experienced Full Time CNC Programmer/Machinst. The role will initially be a temporary contract during a 13 week probation period after which the successful candidate would be offered permanent role.
Summary:
- Job Title; CNC Machinist
- Hours; 6:30am - 4pm Monday - Thursday. 6:30am - 1pm Friday
- Probation period; 13 weeks
Essential skills:
- Set, programme & operate CNC milling machines
- Able to set CNC machinery un-assisted. (Training will be given on unfamiliar machines)
- Able to read programs and make adjustments where required during the setting process.
- Able to read technical drawings and use a wide range of measuring equipment to ensure parts are made correct to the drawing.
- Good working attitude and enthusiastic.
