Marc Daniels are recruiting an Accounts Payable Team Leader to join a well-established company based in Windsor in an interim basis.
You must be on a short notice period (1 Week max).
THIS ROLE OFFERS HYBRID WORKING.
Responsibilities:
- Organise workload of the Accounts Payable team and ensure all team members have a full understanding of their duties and responsibilities
- To review the work performed by the Accounts Payable team and provide constructive feedback and coaching
- Lead the Accounts Payable Assistants through individual objective setting and performance management
- Ensure all invoices and credit notes are received correctly, processed through the system and paid within agreed supplier terms
- Management of aged creditors, including follow up for debit balance vendors
- Management of supplier invoices from receipt through to payment
- Compilation of supplier BACs payment file for approval submission
- Ensure supplier accounts are reconciled regularly
- Completion of daily Accounts Payable Control reconciliation, ensuring all ledgers are balanced on daily basis
- Work to continually improve and increase efficiency within the Accounts Payable team
Requirements:
- Good technical knowledge of Accounts Payable and/or P2P processes
- Confident, articulate and passionate about personal and team development
- Excellent communications skills, including corresponding with both internal and external parties in a sensitive and professional manner
- Adaptable and keen to learn
