ADR/HGV Driver - Night Shift - 4 on 4 off - Up to £40,000
My client in Durham is seeking a motivated and experienced HGV/ADR driver to join their team on a 4 on 4 off night shift. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a ADR/HGV Driver, safe and efficient driving, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate Class 1 or 2 HGV vehicles, ensuring adherence to all road traffic laws and regulations.
- Handle and transport hazardous materials (ADR) in accordance with strict safety protocols.
- Perform pre-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking tires, brakes, lights, and fluid levels.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently and securely, using appropriate equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and mileage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.
Qualifications:
- Hold a full, valid Class 1 or 2 HGV driving licence.
- Possess a valid CPC and Digi-Tachograph licence.
- Have a valid ADR license
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
- Experience in operating HIAB cranes would be an advantage.
- Forklift licence would be an advantage
