You'll join the successful broking team at one of insurance's biggest names as a dealmaker, trading with the market locally, at head office level and into London and Lloyds, to deliver the right products, service and solutions for your colleagues and clients.

Key Role Functions:

  • External Brokering and Insurer Relations

  • You'll excel in the art of deal-making, engaging with a diverse panel of insurers across local branches, head offices, and the London and Lloyds markets.

  • Working tactically and strategically to get the right solution on large, complex and harder to place risks.

  • Your negotiation and relationship management skills will be instrumental in securing advantageous products, terms, and rates that are key to winning and retaining valued clients.

  • Internal Strategic Collaboration

  • Work in tandem with sales and account management colleagues teams to refine their pipelines.

  • Your insight will guide the pursuit of new business prospects, aligning with both technical feasibility and the interests of insurer markets. Your proactive approach in addressing challenging renewals will set the stage for successful outcomes.

You

  • Perhaps an Account Executive, Account Handler, Broker or Underwriter seeking greater freedom to trade and do business - your background is less important than technical insurance knowledge and approach to getting the deal done.
  • You'll have market facing, trading experience at a broker or insurer (or similar).
  • You'll be a strong negotiator, adept at building and maintaining mutually beneficial professional relationships.
