Graduate Teaching Assistant
Location: Hammersmith and Fulham
Contract Type: Full-Time from September
Salary: £90 + depending on experience
Our client is seeking a motivated and dedicated Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their Secondary team for the full academic year starting in September. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play an integral role in supporting the learning and development of the students, whilst gaining valuable experience in the field of education.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with planning and delivery of lessons under the guidance of the class teacher
- Work with individuals or small groups of students to provide additional support and guidance
- Help to monitor student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher
- Support the class teacher with administrative tasks such as preparing materials and marking
- Attend and contribute to staff meetings and training sessions as required
Requirements:
- A strong passion for education and helping young people to achieve their potential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability
Experience of working with children or young people in an educational setting is desirable, but not essential.
