JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Marketing Managerwith experience of Strategic Marketing in B2B companies, planning and executing marketing projects, campaigns and activities including content generation and copywriting.

Working as a Marketing Manager you will predominantly work within the Strategic Marketing area, leveraging your deep marketing and industry knowledge and cutting-edge strategies to develop and lead a plan of integrated marketing activities for Business Applications.

As the Marketing Manager you will focus on key vertical industries and external strategic Partners, especially Microsoft, creating engaging content, driving outbound campaigns, and implementing account-based marketing strategies as required by the business, to increase brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement, and drive growth in the target market.

DUTIES

Your duties and responsibilities for the Marketing Manager will include:

  • Creative and curious subject matter expert to successfully market the Business Applications offering
  • Understand the strategy, priorities, portfolio, market, vertical industry sectors, partner ecosystem and the audience, for the Business Applications offering, and the wider business
  • Develop and drive the marketing strategy and lead generation for Business Applications, ensuring alignment with group marketing principles, with a focus on strategic activity and high-quality output
  • Identify opportunities and work with the wider team to promote Business Applications and its benefits, and drive customer engagement and relations, via account based marketing, social online presence, events, speaking opportunities and sponsorships, awards, PR, and other thought leadership initiatives
  • Understand the partner ecosystem, especially the Microsoft business and relationship, to continue to drive and grow the company's collaboration and coordinated marketing activities with them and other key strategic partners, being able to work with partner Marketing Development Funds and analyse and report on this activity
  • Work across the group marketing team to share best practice, synergies, and opportunities, and to ensure the right marketing processes and tools are in place
  • Be knowledgeable of the latest trends in the industry, with a particular focus on Business Applications, leading the adoption of new marketing tactics and adapting messaging as required

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience working in Marketing in B2B companies
  • Proven experience in planning and executing successful marketing projects, campaigns and activities, including content generation and copywriting, and generating leads/demand through outbound marketing campaigns
  • Experience in customer engagement and relations, including account based marketing & events
  • Experience working with partners and Marketing Development Funds
  • Experience with or understanding of Microsoft is helpful
  • Working with management, planning, and reporting tools (as above + Planner / Monday.com, or similar, dashboards, etc.)
  • Working with CRMs and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, SalesForce)
  • Working with webinar platforms (e.g. Streamyard / LinkedIn Live etc.)
  • Knowledge of social media channels and platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Hootsuite, YouTube, Instagram) and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is helpful
  • Knowledge of Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress) is helpful
  • Resilience, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Project management skills, with ability to see projects through to the end
  • Flexible, agile approach, able to adapt as required by the business
