Seeking an Experienced Infrastructure Project Manager

Our client, a leading financial services organization, is currently seeking an exceptional Infrastructure Project Manager to join their dynamic team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of complex technology infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects, including planning, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, monitoring progress, and proactively addressing any issues or risks.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business stakeholders, to align project objectives with organizational goals.
  • Oversee the implementation of cloud-based infrastructure, on-premises data centers, disaster recovery solutions, and enterprise networking technologies.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project delivery and efficiency.
  • Provide regular progress updates and reporting to senior management, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Manage project budgets and ensure efficient utilization of resources.
  • Mentor and support junior project team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex infrastructure projects, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively plan, coordinate, and execute projects.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and enterprise-level networking technologies (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring and automation tools, such as Nagios, Zabbix, or Ansible.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to navigate diverse stakeholder needs.
  • Proficient in the use of project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
  • Certification in project management, such as PMP or PRINCE2, is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
