Management Accountant

Reed Finance are pleased to be supporting our client in their search for an interim Management Accountant to join their finance team for around one year. This role offers a blend of management and statutory accounts preparation, along with involvement in various ad hoc assignments. The ideal candidate will be part or fully qualified and possess a strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively within a team environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Prepare month-end accounts, including posting monthly journals such as prepayments, accruals, provisions, and depreciation.
- Balance sheet reconciliations, including analysis and commentary.
- Implementation of new processes and procedures.
- Support year-end statutory audit requirements.
- Bi-weekly cash flow forecasting.
- Capex reporting and maintenance of the fixed asset register.
- Undertake other ad hoc tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as a team player.
