Are you an Account Manger looking to work for a well-established company based in Leigh who work internationally? Your main function will be managing a range of customer accounts across the UK, meeting customers on a regular basis across the uk and contributing to the overall success and development of the business, your base will be head office in Leigh. You will be rewarded with a company that supports staff, working with household names and client base, supported in personal growth with career progression, ongoing training, fantastic supportive colleagues. Hours 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.30 pm. Salary is £27,000 to £30,000 dependent on experience. You will be required to do overnight stays once a week, no weekend work. A company car is provided so full UK Driving Licence is required.

Account Manger Duties:

  • Manage existing clients to maximise sales, revisit lapsed clients and nurture new and existing business.
  • Preparing and presenting business and account updates to the company's management and clients.
  • Manage and develop your own pipeline of client accounts.
  • Diary management, arranging appointments, keeping the office up to date with diary/ appointments.
  • Develop a strong product knowledge and keep updated with new products to assist you in the full sales process.
  • Working alongside the Marketing team to ensure all products are marketed correctly.
  • Maintain good working knowledge of systems and continuing updates.
  • Attending conferences and exhibitions regularly.
  • Inbound and outbound call handling.
  • Processing orders, order amendments, sending purchase orders and emailing customers with updates.
  • Other administrative duties as required with the role.

The ideal Account Manager would meet the following:

  • Experience in a similar role, Account Management, Field Sales, or transferable sales background would be considered for this position.
  • You must be energetic and passionate about delivering improvement and exceptional customer service, building relationships and promoting the company products.
  • You can manage your time efficiently, motivate yourself.
  • You must have a full UK Driving license as you will be required to visit client sites across the UK
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages Word, Outlook, Excel, full training will be given on in-house systems.
