Group Payroll Advisor £27,000 - £31,000 Permanent Gloucester (hybrid)
We are working with a successful and fast-growing Gloucester based business. Our client is looking for a permanent Group Payroll Advisor to join their successful existing team. This is an excellent role to the world of finance suitable for candidates with high attention to detail and some established payroll processing knowledge and experience.
Main duties of the role include:
- Preparation of monthly payroll (multiple group sites)
- Be the first point of contact for employee payroll related queries
- Processing mileage deductions
- Calculate staff pay accurately in line with HMRC- overtime, SSP, SMP, pensions, student loans etc.
- Auditing monthly payroll
- Support month and year end process - P60/P11Ds
- Ad-hoc duties as required
The ideal candidate will have:
- Some prior experience within Payroll
- Competent Excel user
- High attention to detail, organised, with a logical approach
- Ability to build strong relationships with customers
- Sound knowledge of MS Excel and SAGE would be an advantage
