The client, an independent chartered Town Planning and Development Consultancy specializes in delivering sustainable and innovative solutions for a diverse range of projects across the UK, is looking for an Associate Town Planner to join the team in Glasgow.

They specialise in residential, retail, tourism, renewable energy, health & education, and rural and heritage developments, offering tailored advice and practical solutions.

The Position of an Associate Town Planner

As an Associate you will manage planning projects, prepare, and submits applications, ensure compliance with regulations, and liaises with clients. You will also supervise junior planners, conduct site assessments, and engage with stakeholders to secure project approvals.

Essential Criteria for the candidate as a Senior Town Planner

  • RTPI accredited town planning degree or relevant.
  • Previous relevant consultancy experience.
  • MRTPI qualified.
  • Ability to work independently and within the supporting team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-faced environment
