- Why this role is perfect for you: As a bookkeeper, you'll play a key role in maintaining financial records for a wide range of exciting clients. Your attention to detail will shine as you handle everything from VAT returns to payroll processing.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Bookkeeping for clients using Xero and Hubdoc - become a whiz at the latest accounting software!
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
- Processing client invoices, receipts, and managing bank reconciliations.
- Onboarding new clients, ensuring smooth transitions with compliance checks and software setups.
- Assisting with personal tax returns and pension submissions.
What we're looking for:
- At least 1 year of UK accountancy practice experience.
- Knowledge of VAT and experience with Xero.
- Ideally AAT Level 3, ICB qualified, or equivalent - or just loads of experience!
- A personable, hardworking individual who's great under pressure and enjoys working with clients face-to-face.
