Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in schools and will support teachers in delivering high-quality education and care to our pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Classroom Learning: Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
- Individual and Group Support: Work with individual pupils and small groups to support their learning and development.
- Behaviour Management: Implement effective behaviour management strategies in line with school policies.
- Resource Preparation: Help prepare classroom materials and resources.
- Assessment and Feedback: Assist in assessing pupils' progress and provide feedback to teachers.
- Pupil Welfare: Promote the inclusion and welfare of all pupils, ensuring they have equal opportunities to learn.
- Communication: Maintain open communication with teachers, parents, and other staff members regarding pupils' progress and needs.
- Additional Duties: Support school activities, events, and trips as required.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience working in a school environment is essential.
- Skills: Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Attitude: Positive, patient, and proactive attitude towards working with children.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.
- Commitment: Dedication to promoting the welfare and inclusion of all pupils.
