Sitecore Developer

Posted by Reed.

A creative software house with the ability to recognise change and understand the value an ever evolving digital roadmap are now looking for a Sitecore Developer to join their team due to the scale up of their customer base.

This role can be worked to a hybrid basis if you are local enough and wish to do so, or you can work remotely from anywhere in the UK. Visa sponsorship will not be provided.

Mission

Since day one the owners set out on a mission to build a business that would create jobs in the local software and technology sector. They are proud to say that they built a strong reputation for doing this and have given their team the opportunity to work with many exciting clients from across the globe.

The Business

With customer experience at the forefront of any project, you can expect anything from Web & Mobile applications to Cyber, Ai and IoT projects. There really is something for everyone to get their teeth into across a range of platforms and technologies dependant upon your specialism.

The Role

This opportunity will provide you with valuable experience in developing cutting-edge Sitecore Full Stack Software solutions that will in turn elevate your technical standards. You'll have a say in the projects you work on because they are strong believers in you need to enjoy what you are doing. If you don't enjoy it, you will not achieve half of what you're capable of.

Using Sitecore you will develop brand new websites keeping product functionality in line with the brief and customer need. This isn't a solo venture, you'll work alongside server-side developers to create solutions to technical issues across product development, ensuring project deadlines are met.

Skills required

As not to over complicate this, all they ask for is strong commercial experience working with the Sitecore CMS system with clear examples of where you have applied this in a project.

Years of experience don't necessarily mean "a better developer" but you must have enough commercial experience that leaves you comfortable to work on projects from the ground up, have worked on varied sizes/scales of project and be able to offer guidance to junior team members when required.

Progression

Progression isn't a one size fits all approach, to one person this might mean climbing the ladder into management and to another this might mean broadening their tech stack and trying something new. There will be a tailored progression plan put in place that meets your needs and it will flow at a pace that suits you.

The overall package:

  • A salary of up to £70,000 with yearly pay rises / reviews
  • 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
  • Company Pension Scheme
  • Paid certifications of both your personal choice and ones your role will directly benefit from.
  • Opportunity to cross train into other areas
  • Free eye tests
  • Food shop done for the office
  • Showers on site
